Emily Griffith Technical College
Emily Griffith Technical College is a public technical college in downtown Denver, Colorado, United States. Founded by Emily Griffith in 1916 as Opportunity School, it was renamed in her honor in 1933. The school is affiliated with Denver Public Schools, offering an alternative high school program, and is part of the Colorado Community College System.
Pickens Tech
Pickens Technical College is a Career & Technical Education college offering training programs to adults and high school students. We are a public institution and part of Aurora Public Schools & the Colorado Community College System. Pickens Tech offers nearly 50 certificate programs ranging from Dental Assisting to Landscaping. Our goal is to provide our students with the opportunity to acquire the state-of-the-art skills, knowledge and work habits that will help them succeed in the workforce. Upon completing most programs at Pickens Tech you will receive a program completion certificate and transcript that is transferable to any community college or area technical school/college in Colorado in your area of training (read more under our “Certificates/Degrees” link).
